Cooking frozen chicken. Help please?
I would do the exact opposite way of cooking your frozen chicken. Since you're cooking it from a frozen state, boil it in the water FIRST with a least a chicken bouillon cube, this way it will thaw out and add a bit of flavor. Drain the water out. Then, cook it on both sides with your Olive oil and seasonings. See, your seasonings can't sink into the chicken when it's frozen, so that's why it tastes so bland. Garlic and Onion spice are great, but maybe branch out and try some sage, thyme or oregano. So many different spices go well with Chicken and if you're hestitant to try them, you could start off with a complex seasoning and see how you like it. Hope this helps you out without changing too much of your routine. Have a GREAT weekend!
