Should i let my friend tell this guy that i like him?

everytime i p him he says hi and smiles. i met him randomly in the hall at school i seen him 3 times in one day so i told him omg i seen u 3 times today and he laughed cuz he knos its tru so then we kinda talk n stuff but not alot and i like him n my friends think he likes me but i really dont kno if they are rite and they wanna tell him that i like him and i really dont kno if thats the rite thing to do cuz i think that if i wanted him to kno i shud tell him myself but then my friends also wanna ask him if he likes me but i dunno im just lost, you gotta gotta GOTTA HELP PLEASEEE!!! n thanxx
