If I smack a person with a chemical imbalance in depression in the face, will they get depressed or angry?

figuratively speaking not violently. Since the chemical imbalance is so strong that they can't feel any other emotion but depression then they should just get depressed and walk away with a sad face, the chemical imbalance is a cyst that pushes on the frontal lobe of the brain causing thought patterns to act erratically. Along with the production of endorphins are cut off or slowed down causing the person to be saddened by every event, the cyst is not a tumor but a genetic malfunction in development that causes the brain to form unbalanced. The unbalance never gets any bigger which is a modern mystery as to why it stays the same size throughout the persons life, there is no known cure for the genetic malfunction except by medication. Which is shown to increase the endorphin production, causing the person to feel happier about every event. The endorphin gland is a highly needed organ for the interaction between two individuals, without the endorphin gland a person can't connect with someones emotions. Now studies have shown that the gland cannot be repaired or regrown by any surgery and it continues to be a mystery as to why the gland can't be repaired by the body. Since the physical structure of the brain is said to change with every thought and chemical functions change repeatedly, from happy to sad, to depressed to lonesome to unsure. Surely such a flexible organ can force a missing piece to function, instead though medication to shock therapy is recommended. Shock therapy is the result of jolting electric volts to an unbalanced mind, in order to forcefully mend the broken pieces. Though how is the endorphin gland a broken piece when its said to be an entire gland missing specific functions?
