Do you know the name of this film?

I remember watching this film many years ago and i can barely remember what it was about but here goes.. I remember there being 2 or maybe 3 people going to an place where there is a miserable or creepy woman. It turns out something happened there years ago, i think something to do with a bell dropping or something and some people disappeared. So the new visitors to this place do something and somehow they make the bell drop again and this make the original people reappear. Now i'm not positive that that makes sense but its really been bugging me and i really would like to know what the name of the film is, anything would help and would be greatly appreciated :) i'm just hoping that over the years i haven't added anything or got it all wrong "/
