I asked my guy friend to the sadie hawkins dance, and he said yes. But now he decided he doesn't want to go because he hates dances. It would mean a lot to me if he went, and there's no time to get another date; the dance is on Saturday. I want to convince him to go, but I need it to sound like an appealing way to spend a Saturday night. I don't want to have to beg or sound desperate. What specific things should i tell him?
