If i delete registry entry's and files that are found infected.will it erase the virus?

i used kasper free online virus scan and it found the following on my computer.trojan.win32.agent.cdcn,trojan.… there are more. i read about a few of them and how thay creat registry entrys and files..if i delete this key values and files that have been located..will this rid my pc of the virus??i dont want to reformat my harddrive unles i REELY HAVE TO.
